Topshop Lipstick Review

Topshop Lipstick in Sartorial - £8.00

Hi Girls! I Can't believe it's Friday tomorrow, this week has flown and I can't lie, I'm so looking forward to doing my usual half-day Friday and then leaving work to enjoy the weekend, although the extent to which I enjoy my weekend might be limited considering I only have £15 of my monthly wage left to last until the last day in October!

So if you saw my recent haul post (the reason why I am completely skint!) you will have noticed that I purchased my first Topshop Lipstick in Sartorial Shade. I couldn't wait to try some Topshop make- up products out and I thought this lipstick was perfect to take the latest pride of place in my make-up bag as my usual go-to daily lipstick had run out (sob!) and I was in desperate need of a new one! My daily lipstick was a Rimmel Colour Show off in shade 030 (Tell No One) which was very much a coral shade so I was looking for another coral because I just can't get enough of this shade for during the day, I'm the kind of girl who feels like my make up is not complete without a lipstick!
Topshop describes the shade Sartorial as a 'Bright Coral'  and after using this product almost daily since I bought it, I can tell you it definitely is bright (I've noticed it looks slightly more pink than coral on these photos). Also in the Topshop description -
'Velvet finish lipstick to smooth, moisturise and nourish lips. Apply for fabulous colour and moisturised, matte finish, wear alone or with gloss for a shiny finish.'  The lipstick is definitely moisturizing, A+ for this!, this is where Tell No One lacked as it was very drying however I found Tell No One better pigmented than Sartorial. I like a matte, bold colour which I can't see through and Tell No One was exactly that, I find Sartorial is glossy, has less pigmented finish and is definitely not matte. As for this lipstick's staying power I wear it to work and it will last till lunchtime before I need to reapply which is approximately 4-5 hours.

Overall, I do like the lipstick, it is suitable for the office as although it is bright it's not as orangey as I first thought it might be, also it is so moisturizing and doesn't flake what-so-ever as Tell No One used to. However as I am a lover of matte lipsticks I still prefer Tell No One and I've been hunting high and low for it as I am sure it has been discontinued
(I have spied 3 for £6.99 on ebay) This has in no way put me off trying other Topshop products as it good quality just not as described.

What are your views on Topshop's Lipsticks? Do you have a lipstick in coral you can recommend?
